At The Desire Company, I led the development of board decks, investor presentations, and fundraising materials supporting Series A and B rounds.
I partnered closely with leadership to structure the company’s growth narrative, clarify product-market positioning, and present performance data in a way that strengthened investor confidence and contributed to a $97M valuation.

The Desire Company needed a clear way to explain why expert-led product reviews outperform traditional influencer marketing. Many brands were heavily investing in influencer campaigns, but were struggling with credibility, product returns, and shoppers abandoning purchases due to lack of confidence.The goal of this deck was to reposition product video content around expert authority rather than influencer popularity, helping retailers and brands understand that credibility and real-world expertise drive trust, conversion, and long-term brand loyalty.
Approach
Working with the leadership team, I designed a series of narrative-driven sales decks used to introduce retailers and brand partners to The Desire Company’s model.The presentation reframed the problem many retailers face: shoppers are overwhelmed with options and uncertain who to trust when making purchasing decisions.
Rather than relying on influencers or generic user reviews, the deck introduced a new category of content built around verified industry experts demonstrating and reviewing products in real-world use cases.
The story highlighted research showing that expert recommendations significantly increase purchase intent and trust compared with traditional brand messaging or influencer endorsements.
The deck also demonstrated how The Desire Company’s technology embeds shoppable expert video directly into retailer product pages, allowing shoppers to watch expert reviews, understand real-world use cases, and purchase immediately through integrated click-to-buy functionality.
In addition to shaping the narrative, I developed the visual storytelling framework used across multiple presentations, combining expert-led imagery, retail scenarios, and clear data visualization to communicate the shift from influencer marketing to expert-driven product education.
