Candor Ventures
Presentation Leader
Candor Ventures is an early-stage investment firm that partners with founders to build and scale high-growth companies, providing capital, strategic support, and operational insight.
At Candor Ventures, I worked closely with the founders to shape the firm’s portfolio narrative and investment positioning.
I designed pitch material from the ground up and created visual storytelling systems that clarified the value of the portfolio companies, elevated brand perception, and supported new investor engagement and capital formation.

Audience
Early-stage founders and startup teams evaluating Candor Ventures as a venture studio and technical partner.Goal
Candor Ventures needed a clear way to explain a relatively unfamiliar model: a venture studio that provides experienced engineering teams, infrastructure, and technical leadership in exchange for equity. The goal of the deck was to help founders quickly understand how partnering with Candor could accelerate product development while dramatically lowering early technical costs.Approach
Working on an extremely tight turnaround, I developed the full presentation framework and visual design language for the company, including the color palette, typography system, layout structure, and visual storytelling style used throughout the deck. The narrative positioned Candor as a “tech-quity partner,” combining venture investment with hands-on technical execution. The presentation clarified the venture studio model, visualized the investment process, and illustrated how Candor subsidizes up to 70% of startup technology costs in exchange for equity, allowing founders to build and scale products more efficiently.
Impact
The deck gave Candor Ventures a clear and compelling way to communicate its hybrid venture studio model to founders and investors, simplifying a complex offering into an easily understood story around speed, technical expertise, and aligned incentives.Candor Ventures continued expanding its venture studio strategy globally and was later acquired by Austin Capital, a venture firm managing a $125M fintech-focused investment fund, integrating Candor’s studio model into a larger venture ecosystem supporting early-stage technology companies.
Following this work, I continued collaborating with several founders from the Candor network on presentations and strategic storytelling for their subsequent ventures.
